You need:

Paint Shop Pro, you can download the shareware version from here I've created this tutorial with PSP) ver. but it is easy to create with any other versions of PSP.

Please download the the zip file for practicing . The zip file contains one .png file, 12x12 inch size and 300 dpi resolution, so it is good for scrapbooking too. Feel free to resize and recolorize the slat if it need for your project.

Please do not forget about saving your image as pspimage during the work.
I've created this tutorial as a picture. Feel free to save them to your workfolder and can praktice free.
